Three UK employees are providing leadership for this fall’s 2025 Kentucky Convergence Conference, the annual conference that has for more than 20 years brought together leaders in information technology, academic libraries, online teaching and learning, and instructional design from educational institutions across the state.
UK Online instructional designer Jessica Wells and UK Online educational technologist Kyle Tuck are co-chairs of this year’s conference. Deloris Foxworth, an instructional designer in UK’s Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, is serving as this year’s technology chair.
“We were drawn to the conference’s mission of uniting professionals and faculty with interest in one or all of the threads in this conference,” said Wells. “We hope that our leadership embodies the conference’s spirit of convergence, bringing together different perspectives to transform learning for all.”
“Convergence is special because it focuses on Kentucky and nearby states," added Tuck. "It is an incredible opportunity to connect with others who have an understanding of local challenges and opportunities around digital information and online learning."
