1. Flexibility of Online
This degree lends itself well to the online format. Students have the flexibility to complete synchronous (via Zoom with a scheduled time to meet) and asynchronous (No scheduled time to meet) work in accordance with the class requirements. Furthermore, students may find it possible to complete their internship and practicum hours requirements online through practices utilizing telehealth platforms for their fieldwork.

5. Real-World Experience
All students in this program are required to obtain fieldwork hours through a practicum and internship. These experiences provide robust real-world learning opportunities. The practicum is completed near the beginning, and the internship is completed during the last semester of the student's time in the program. In recent years, many students have been able to secure 100% online opportunities for their fieldwork.
