What Are Transfer Tuesdays?
Transfer Tuesdays are special application fee waiver events for students applying to transfer to the University of Kentucky.
On designated Transfer Tuesday dates, eligible transfer applicants who submit their application through the University of Kentucky Transfer Application will have the $50 undergraduate application fee waived.
This opportunity is available to students transferring into both:
- On-campus undergraduate degree programs
- Fully online bachelor's degree programs through UK Online
No additional form or coupon code is required. Simply submit your transfer application on one of the designated Transfer Tuesday dates, and the admissions team will process your fee waiver. Please note that the application portal may still display the fee initially, but it will be waived during application processing if you meet the eligibility requirements.
Who Is Eligible?
Transfer Tuesdays are designed specifically for students applying to the University of Kentucky as transfer students using the UK application.
You may be eligible if you are:
- Transferring from a community college
- Transferring from another four-year college or university
Transfer Tuesdays do not apply to:
- First-time freshman applicants
- Readmission applicants
- Non-degree applicants
- Applications submitted through the Common Application (Common App)
