Educause
EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education through the use of information technology. They address technology approaches related to topics such as cybersecurity, digital transformation, DEI, student success, teaching and learning, policy, and more. National College Testing Association (NCTA)
The National College Testing Association (NCTA) is a non-profit organization of testing professionals working in post-secondary institutions, in companies with test-related products and services, and in other professional testing venues. In addition to sponsoring various resources and conferences for those who oversee testing centers, they support the NCTA Proctoring Network, a referral service that facilitates distance learning by making test administration services available to distance learning students.
National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC- SARA)
The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) is a nonprofit organization that helps expand students’ access to educational opportunities and ensure more efficient, consistent, and effective regulation of distance education programs. Recognizing the growing demand for distance education opportunities, higher education stakeholders – including state regulators and education leaders, accreditors, the U.S. Department of Education, and institutions – joined together in 2013 to establish the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA), which streamline regulations around distance education programs.
Online Learning Consortium (OLC)
The Online Learning Consortium (OLC) is a collaborative community of higher education leaders and innovators, dedicated to advancing quality digital teaching and learning experiences designed to reach and engage the modern learner – anyone, anywhere, anytime. OLC inspires innovation and quality through an extensive set of resources, including best-practice publications, quality benchmarking, leading-edge instruction, community-driven conferences, practitioner-based and empirical research, and expert guidance. The growing OLC community includes faculty members, administrators, trainers, instructional designers, and other learning professionals, as well as educational institutions, professional societies, and corporate enterprises.
Quality Matters (QM)
Quality Matters is a nonprofit organization comprised of dedicated staff that work together virtually — from cities all over the United States — to support everyone’s quality assurance goals. The QM Rubrics and processes are continuous, centered, collegial, and collaborative. QM's mission is to promote and improve the quality of online education and student learning through the use of a quality assurance system and professional development. As an institutional member, University of Kentucky faculty and staff may receive member pricing for resources and training.
UPCEA
UPCEA is an association for professional, continuing, and online education. For more than 100 years, Founded in 1915, the association serves its members with conferences and specialty seminars, research and benchmarking information, professional networking opportunities, and timely publications. WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET)
WCET is the leader in the practice, policy, and advocacy of digital learning in higher education. WCET is a member-driven organization which brings together colleges, universities, higher education organizations, and companies to collectively improve the quality and reach of technology-enhanced learning programs. WCET addresses topics related to emerging technologies, institutional success, policy and regulations, student success, and more.
WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies – State Authorization Network (WCET-SAN)
The State Authorization Network (SAN) serves institutions and organizations nationwide by providing training, support, and opportunities to collaborate and navigate regulatory compliance for out-of-state activities of post-secondary institutions. SAN provides deeper examination and strategy consideration for regulatory compliance including ancillary regulatory issues related to educational technologies. SAN members collaborate to address the problems, discuss solutions, and prepare for the future.
