Canvas 101- Curious about Canvas? 
Canvas 101 provides an overview of the layout and features included in a Canvas Course. Instructors will learn about the Course Navigation Menu and tools and components available in Canvas to deliver content. This introductory demonstration provides users with the background knowledge needed to begin their Canvas journey. 

Designing Your Online Course
Designing Your Canvas Course will explore the different features of the Canvas LMS to design engaging and interactive courses. This workshop will explore DesignPLUS, course modules, and course organization. We will also look at the five principles of creating accessible Canvas pages, which will ensure your Canvas course is accessible for all students. 

Online Course Foundations
In this fast-paced introductory workshop we will explore online teaching and course design fundamentals such as course alignment, structure and pacing, creating engaging learning environments centered on positive classroom culture, choosing the right tech for the job, universal design, managing online communications and discussion, and more.   

Active Learning
Discover key strategies to enhance student engagement in online learning environments in this focused one-hour workshop. Participants will explore the three main types of engagement—learner-instructor, learner-content, and learner-learner—and learn practical, implementable techniques for each. Through brief interactive activities and discussions, attendees will gain insights into best practices and leave with concrete ideas to immediately improve engagement in their online courses. 

Technology Best Practices
 This workshop is designed to enhance your online courses with effective multimedia strategies. This session will provide actionable best practices to boost student engagement. Learn how to align media with learning objectives, integrate varied media types into your LMS and foster active student engagement through different tools.
